Post-consumer waste (PCW) means that once
products have reached the end of their intended
lifecycle, they are sorted, crushed and then
recycled to generate new materials.
Recycled materials can derive from either textile
products (e.g., polyester) or PET items. The use
of recycled polyester reduces reliance on petrol
as a source of raw materials, uses waste and
reduces CO2 emissions. Furthermore, its production
requires less energy compared to the production
of virgin polyester.
